Here's what other people have said about their experience working with D20 Athletics.
Ethan
Beyond just becoming stronger and more fit, Rob and D20 Athletics has really helped me to overcome some previous issues. At the beginning of 2019 I was largely unable to work out due to a back injury that had massively reduced my mobility, and occasionally even caused me to have to leave work due to pain. Rob and I discussed my limitations extensively before we began working together, and he developed a plan that has slowly helped me to restrengthen my back, and steadily increase my mobility. I am now feeling as strong as ever, and in general feeling better about myself. Over the last 4 months I have dropped about 15 pounds, while increasing my strength and flexibility. This past year I went from being unable to complete ten 20lbs kettlebell swings, to being able to complete one-hundred 50 lbs. swings!

I really enjoy working out with Rob. He's an awesome trainer to work with. I am extremely impressed by the amount of weight I've lost since beginning my training with him. I love how his training sessions are a combination of education and work. It's one thing to be doing a workout and not have a clue of its importance. It makes the workout even better when you are being properly educated throughout each set. The results you get makes it even more worth it. I am happy to say that I am down 32 pounds currently!

Since completing the Swolar Express Challenge, here's what I have gained... confidence in lifting, better fitting clothes, quicker recoup times after a workout, and a love for Turkish Get Ups that I can not explain. I'm stronger, I feel better, and people have told me that I look better. Pretty great gains if you ask me. Oh, and I've gained a hunger for more! Look out 2020, I'm coming to get you!

During the holidays, Rick and I did the swolar express challenge for D20 Athletics. This allowed us to up the calories (specifically protein) over the holidays and do A LOT of heavy lifting. Like heavy lifting I haven't done since high school! I think I definitely would call this challenge a successful experience in building muscle mass. Here were my measurements today (Jan 10, 2020) in comparison to the beginning of November 2019;
Measurements: Weight:+4 lbs Chest:+ 3 1/2 ins Shoulders: +1in Waist:-1in Hips: same Arm: +1in Leg: +.5 in I think I got successfully swol this season! So happy with the successes and PRs over the last couple months and excited to continue moving forward down a different "path" for a while with Rob. I got swol, now it's time to get lean! |
